    GEO Academies Brand Guidelines 2020

ALL ROADS LEAD TO COLLEGE The GEO Foundation currently manages 6 unique charter schools in three cities—Indianapolis, Gary and Baton Rouge, Louisiana—and supports both an accelerated college and career readiness model and a high school dropout prevention and recovery model. Our schools gained attention for our early work in personalized and mastery-based learning in 2003. Today, we are gaining attention because we are achieving K-16 results with K-12 dollars and we are doing so in communities historically characterized as low performing and underachieving. GEO’s model starts with a classical education that utilizes the Core Knowledge Sequence in K-8 and graduates to an accelerated college program in grades 9-12. All GEO high school students are encouraged to begin taking college and/or career certification courses as freshmen. By doing so, students can graduate from high school in four years with an Associate’s Degree or career certification.
